CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP
CANAC has five categories of membership all of which end October 31 of the calendar year: |

Regular
|
- Registered nurses
- Registered psychiatric nurses
- Registered practical nurses and licensed practical nurses
- Nurse Practitioners
|
- pay an annual fee as per regulation
- have full voting privileges
- be eligible to hold office and sit on committees

Associate
|
- Any person committed to supporting the mission of CANAC
|
- pay a reduced fee as per regulation
- be a non-voting member
- not be eligible to hold office or sit on committees
|
$40.00 |
Student
|
- Student membership shall be open to any full time student
|
- pay a reduced fee as per regulation
- be -voting members
- be eligible to sit on committees
- Student members who hold a valid nursing license are also eligible to hold office.

Corporate |
- Any business committed to supporting the mission of CANAC
|
- pay a fee as determined by regulation
- be a non-voting member
- not be eligible to hold office or sit on committees

Per Fee Schedule |
Institutional |
- Any institution, organization or other entity engaged in the provision of HIV/AIDS related services committed to supporting the mission of CANAC
|
- pay a fee as determined by regulation
- be voting members
- be eligible to sit on committees
- Institutional members who hold a valid nursing license are also eligible to hold office.
