Expanded access for CMA online course on culturally-appropriate HIV care : The CTN sponsored course is now open to nurses and all other interested health care professionals at www.mdcme.ca. The accredited course will also continue to be available to Canadian Medical Association members online at www.cma.ca.

The course is geared towards health care professionals, particularly those that treat Aboriginal and First Nations patients, and provides training to improve front-line capacity and cultural sensitivity for HIV diagnosis and treatment. The CTN funded the development of the course and helped launch it last summer in partnership with the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network (CAAN), and Memorial University in Newfoundland.
