Dr. June Webber is the Director of International Policy and Development (IPD) at the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA). The CNA has been a strong supporter of CANAC and PLWAs for many years. Dr. Webber was recently appointed to the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS.

Ron Rosens will speak about the opportunities and challenges of bringing the XVI International AIDS Conference to Toronto in August of 2006. This is a look ahead at what to expect for delegates, volunteers and what the future holds for these large gatherings of scientists and community.
Claire Lahaie, RN., HIV-AIDS Outreach Program CHUM, Montreal. Claire Lahaie has a great deal of experience with "street nursing" issues and needs. Claire will provide participants with a CD of the information she uses as an education tool for injection drug users.
Eileen McKee, MSW, MBA Eileen McKee, MSW, MBA, of the Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation, Project Coordinator for the Social Development Canada (HRDC) funded project on Labour Force Participation and Social Inclusion for People Living with HIV/AIDS and other Episodic Disabilities in Canada. Eileen will be talking about Episodic Disabilities and the Labour Force Project.
